Lancaster Aikikwai offers friendly informal tuition to all members. The membership (male & female) ranges from the age 7 years to 70 + if you are fit and able to participate.

Since 1976, we have provided quality independent instruction to our members and have assisted them in achieving their goals. We are the only Aikido School in the area.

At Lancaster Aikikwai, our highest priority is the satisfaction of our members. All our members are important to us and so they can expect us to make every effort to enable them to derive pleasure, satisfaction and a sense of achievement as they progress in Aikido. We are proud of our Club and of the service it has given to the Lancaster community for many years.

Awards

Lancaster Aikikwai Group Trophy

The Lancaster Akikwai is proud to have been awarded a grant from the National Lottery under their Awards for All Scheme, this enabled the Club to purchase some badly needed training mats which were quite expensive.

We also have a Silver Trophy called the Ted Price Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the most promising student each year. The trophy was very generously donated some years ago by Mr Charles Tisdale of Dacrelands Clinic. It was given in memory of one of our founder members, the late Ted Price.
